Time Lines: 690-meter-long artwork now on display at Schiphol

What would normally be rows of construction hoardings has now become a colourful and inspiring passageway around the train and bus station.

In collaboration with the STRAAT museum and WINK five international street artists have created an impressive mural (wall painting) measuring no less than 690 metres. A unique project in which art and infrastructure come together.

The artwork is inspired by an idea of Paul Klee (graphic artist): every traveller a point, every life a line.. like time itself, the artwork is never static. Over the next two years, the five artists will return to expand and further develop their works, allowing the piece as a whole to continue to grow and evolve.

Do you work in or regularly visit the Schiphol Business District? Then this is definitely worth experiencing for yourself. The street art can be viewed through October 2027.

Live painting moments by the artists:

Bianca Nemelc: 3–8 July 2026
Jelmer Konjo: later in 2026
Eloise Gillow: January 2027
Pref: March 2027
Kevin Ledo: June 2027

More information about the artwork can be found at: Time Lines | STRAAT Museum
