NATO Summit 2025: What does this mean for Schiphol?

On June 24 and 25, 2025, the NATO Summit will take place at the World Forum in The Hague. Around 45 heads of government, 90 ministers, and 6,000 delegation members will come to the Netherlands, along with 500 guests for the NATO Public Forum and approximately 2,000 international journalists. The Dutch government has designated Schiphol as the official arrival and departure point for the delegations.
As an international airport and important hub for travellers, Schiphol plays a vital role in facilitating the secure, efficient and hospitable arrival and departure of these delegations. This is a moment where we represent the Netherlands on the world stage. We support the organization of the summit and aim for a smooth execution with minimal disruption for travelers, employees, and the surrounding area.
Important information:
- Event Suspension: From June 14 to July 4, 2025, no events can take place at Schiphol. Anything outside regular operations is considered an event and cannot proceed.
- Accessibility: From June 22 to June 27, Schiphol will be less accessible, particularly for colleagues in the immediate vicinity and towards the southern Randstad region.
Any updates will be shared here with Spot members.
