On friday February 4th, Schiphol Plaza opened its first self-service store, called Gate 24/7. The store has ten different vending machines, each with a different kind of assortment. Eight business partners who are already located at Schiphol Plaza supply the vending machines. The store is open 24/7 and offers a wide range of products. From food and drinks to care products, electronics and last minute travel essentials, you can find it all at Gate 24/7. Customers can select their choice on the vending machine and pay contactless. Gate 24/7 is a pilot of at least six months. Afterwards, Schiphol will evaluate the results and decide whether it is desirable to extend the pilot.
