Free Lunch Friday - 'Distance Team Work'
Free Lunch Friday
Always believed there is no such thing as a free lunch? Think again! On a regular basis a group of community members comes together on Friday at The Base Library to work on their own projects... together.
“Free Lunch Friday” is not necessarily about working with others on one and the same project together, it’s more about working on your own projects with other people around you and in different surroundings, sharing ideas and sharing knowledge. Each “Free Lunch Friday” will be topped off with an inspiring lecture or brainstorm session on a topic of interest.
This Friday’s program:
9.00 - 12.00 Co-working
12.00 - 13.00 Lunch
13.00 - 14.30 Co-working
14.30 - 16.30 Brainstorm: ‘Distance Teamwork’ hosted by Brainpickfriday
17.00 - Drinks and celebrating the weekend!
‘Distance Teamwork’ hosted by Brainpickfriday
According to the people from Brainpickfriday, open brainstorming in small teams with unfamiliar people is one of the most fun and quick ways to share knowledge, be creative and develop new business ideas. This Friday they are hosting a brainstorm on ‘Distance Teamwork’ and you can pick their brains! Why are we going to brainstorm around distance teamwork? Because our organizations become global, we cater worldwide markets, we want to work with multicultural and wide-spreaded teams. We want to work closely together although we are way apart. How do we manage team process, communication, conflicts, community and culture in long distance? You like to find out or know the answer? Join the brainpick! Coffee, tea and lunch are complimentary. Just bring yourself and your own device and log on to The Base free WIFI.
